Harper Dawn Executive Search was founded on a simple conviction: the right executive at the right time can positively transform a business – and organizations navigating significant growth or change deserve a search partner who understands that urgency firsthand.

I’m Aaron Brandon. Before starting Harper Dawn, I spent over a decade in executive search and talent advisory – both as a consultant to some of the most impactful companies and PE firms in the market, and in-house leading executive search across a lower middle market portfolio. That combination of advisor and operator experience, learning what leaders truly need to execute under pressure, fundamentally shaped how I approach every search.

Early in my career, I specialized in placing strategy consultants and investment bankers into industry; work that taught me what drives business outcomes from the executive level down. I built two practices from that foundation, eventually expanding into cross-functional organization builds from the C-Suite to the Director level for several investor-backed businesses.

My functional depth runs across strategy, transformation, operations, and commercial roles: the executive functions that drive value creation in high-growth, high-change environments. I’ve placed CEOs, CROs, COOs, and Heads of Strategy into businesses ranging from $20M to over $100B in revenue.

Harper Dawn is named after my daughter. She’s the reason that I bring the same high level of intensity and care to every client relationship, and just as importantly, she’s the reason I built something that is truly my own.
